Wrong sources of happiness
- Money?
- Succeas?
- Fun?
- Relationships?

Happiness begins with God

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

How can we live God’s dream for us?

1) An Attitude of Forgetfulness – The Grace of Forgiveness
Joseph forgave Potiphar’s wife who falsely accused him of raping.

He forgave his brothers of selling him away.

A man who has no future, always goes back to his past. He has no dream.

Proverbs 24:16a
A righteous man will always rise up.

Roman 8:28
All things means all the good things and all the bad things.

Psalm 119:71

Forgiveness is when the hurt, the sting, the disappointment no longer affect you anymore.

Philippians 3:13-14
God has helped me forward.

How can we forget?! So many people disappoint me, I disappoint so many people. HOW TO FORGET?!

Genesis 45:5-7
How did Joseph do it?

Many of us we are stuck in the happenings of the past…

What is forgiveness? Not seven times, not seventy-seven times. Is seven rimes seventy times times seventy times. It goes on and on and on.

Everytime I choose to forgive, the devil will keep on playing the record over and over and over again. Until one day I really decide to forgive, I will really forget the pain inflicted.

2) An Attitude of Fruitfulness – The Gratefulness of Faith
You cannot have faith without gratitude and gratefulness (isn’t it the same?).

Joseph did become fruitful when he became the Prime Minister, second only to the Pharaoh. He was also faithful in Potiphar’s house. Read Genesis 39:2-5, 20b-23.

The presence of God comes in my life when I’m filled with gratitude.

Sometimes we ask God, “when I’m in my difficult times, where were You?”

God said, “I was with you… Just read Isaiah 43:1-2…

You will not be drowned, you will not be burned. For I am with you…”

We keep hearing mixed signals. We are confused. “You’re not good, you’re not good, you’re not good, baby you’re not good…” and “God loves you.”

Jesus, I don’t want to worry about money. Lord, I know You provide. I know I will have enough for the trip

God, how many times have I cried to You because I was scared that I wont have enough money to spend?

“It is more blessed to give than to receive”

Jesus I hand up the three of them into Your hands.

Let them make a wise choice: church with studies, or work with studies with tiring schedule.

I’m sure You love them as much as You love me, cos we are all Your creation.

So Jesus, let them not be swayed by their skeptics and phobia, but instead let them be willing to accept You and the wiser choice.

I will still respect whatever decision they make and be with them till the end. That’s because I love them. This love is only possible because You first loved me.

Bless them abundantly, and I pray that You will still provide them with sufficient funds despite whatever decision they make, my Lord. I love You.
